Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh is a DM (Hematology) which is the highest academic degree in hematology from AIIMS, India’s most reputed institute and has impressive training credentials. He worked for
two years at the Christian Medical College, Vellore – a center widely regarded as the cradle of hematology in India – under the famed Prof. Mammen Chandy.
He then moved to the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi for a formal three-year superspecialist degree of DM in Clinical Hematology.
Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh currently heads the Hematology department at Artemis Super Specialty Hospital (JCI, USA Quality Accredited Hospital). The Hematology department at Artemis Hospital has its own transplantation unit and extensive laboratory facilities, providing cutting-edge clinical skills and the latest in technology at affordable costs for transplantation and various other hematological services for both adult and pediatric patients.
Dr Singh has experience of performing more than 400 Hematology (including Autologous/ Allogenic/Haplo/MUD) for both malignant and non-malignant blood disorders including thalassemia and aplastic anemia. He has done successful Haplo Hematology for SCID in an 8 months old child. He has performed a number of successful HSCT for MS Treatments with excellent outcomes.
He has authored a book “MCQs in Hematology” and has published many articles in national and international journals. He has participated in International Hematology Conferences and presented 3 papers at Annual meeting, 2015 of EHA in Vienna child.
He is a reviewer of the Indian Journal of Hematology and Blood Transfusion Journal and is a member of the ISHBT and EHA
