Dr. Gagan Saini completed his MD in Radiation Oncology from the esteemed All India Institute of Medical Sciences. He has additionally earned his Diplomate of National Board of Examinations in the same subject. He has been recently empaneled by the National Accreditation Board of Hospitals as an Assessor. He has been trained at Montefiore Cancer Center, New York in the Techniques of Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) for liver and lung, Image guided radiation therapy with gating using 4-D CT scanner and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS). He has received training in Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Intra-Operative Electron Radiation Therapy for Cancers of Breast (Single-Shot Radiation Therapy), Head and Neck Cancers, Abdominal cancers and Stereotactic Radiotherapy at University Clinic of Radiotherapy and Radio-Oncology, University Paracelsus, Austria.
Dr. Saini has presented his original researches in fields of breast cancers, gastro-intestinal cancers, gynecological cancers, genitourinary malignancies, cancers of children (Pediatric malignancies) in many International and National Forums. He has contributed papers for publication in International and National Journals. Furthermore, he holds professional memberships at reputed cancer organizations such as American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), European Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (ESTRO), European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), International Society of Intra-Operative Radiotherapy (ISIORT), Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI), and North Zone- Association of Radiation Oncologists of India.
